AmeriCorps VISTA – an Early Career Path into Public Health
AmeriCorps is a national community service program for those who want to serve communities across the U.S. HIPHI is a sponsor site for AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in service to America). The VISTA program aims to eliminate and alleviate poverty in the U.S. and build healthy communities.
HIPHI works with partner organizations to host AmeriCorps VISTA members. We have multiple positions open for a July/August 2024 start. VISTA members serve 1-full year on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). Members receive monthly living allowance and other benefits, such as paid holidays, end-of-service scholarship award, and non-competitive status while applying for federal jobs.
