COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH ACTION.
WEBINAR 1. SHELTERING IN PLACE AND SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES
Lieutenant Governor Josh Green takes us through strategies and practices of sheltering in place and social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Here’s how you can help now, according to Lieutenant Governor Josh Green:
- Join the Hawaiʻi Health Corps Facebook Group administered by Lieutenant Governor Josh Green. They will be looking for volunteers in the future.
- Reach out to see how you can help Hawaiiʻs homeless. Call Andy of H4 at (808) 230-3069.
- Donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to help keep healthcare workers safe.
- And especially, keep spreading the word to your networks on sheltering in place unless you absolutely need to leave for food or medical reasons, practicing good social distancing. Making use of exemptions should be reserved for those who really need it. According to Lieutenant Governor Green, “If each of you reaches out to your network, we can reach everyone in the state.”
