An important tool in reducing COVID transmission is getting a COVID-19 test. You should get tested in the following scenarios:
- When feeling sick with symptoms of: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea
- On day five after coming into contact with someone with COVID-19 (even if you don’t feel sick)
- Recommended after traveling to an area with high transmission rates

If you test positive for COVID-19, isolate yourself immediately and notify the people you have been in contact with. Please visit the CDC for the most up-to-date guidance on quarantine and isolation.
