Hawai‘i Public Health Institute is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to advancing the health and wellness of the people and islands of Hawai‘i. Our work falls into four portfolios: Prevention and Community Well-Being, Community Preparedness and Resiliency, Workforce Development, and Community-Based Research. From improving local food systems and supporting community health workers to tackling public health challenges like tobacco use and vaccine access, HIPHI works to build a healthier, more resilient Hawai‘i for all.

HIPHI is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2024 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid! This award is the highest level of recognition offered by Candid (formerly known as GuideStar), the world’s largest source of nonprofit information.
