Early Career Apprenticeship 2025 Highlights
Our team extends a heartfelt mahalo to the AmeriCorps VISTAs and interns, whose hard work has contributed to HIPHI and advanced public health efforts across Hawaiʻi this year. From January to December 2025, HIPHI received 73 internship applications and mentored 35 interns and volunteers throughout the spring, summer, and fall. We also bid a warm farewell to two dedicated AmeriCorps VISTA members who served at HIPHI and Family Promise Hawaiʻi.
HIPHI is currently recruiting two new VISTA members! The AmeriCorps VISTA program is a national service opportunity focused on addressing poverty, one of the most significant factors affecting community health. VISTAs serve full-time for one year on high-impact projects that strengthen Hawai‘i’s public health infrastructure. We are now accepting applicants for:
- Community Preparedness & Resilience VISTA
- Workforce Advancement VISTA
