Community Coordinator - Maui Coalition for Drug-Free Youth

HIPHI seeks an experienced community-driven individual to coordinate coalition and community building efforts in Maui County around public health issues including drug and alcohol prevention. While this coalition aims to promote drug and alcohol prevention in youth, this particular position will serve as the coordinator for the duties associated with the adult volunteers/members of the coalition and this individual will be a connector between multiple networks and work with the coalition’s Youth Coordinator to support coalition goals.

HIPHI is seeking an experienced community-driven individual to support community-building efforts within the City and County of Honolulu around public health issues, including physical activity, nutrition, and tobacco prevention and control. This position will serve as a connector between multiple networks, foster engagement with local government and state agencies as well as schools, youth-serving organizations, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders, and collectively work on grasstops and grassroots strategies to promote policy, systems and environmental changes for positive health outcomes. In addition, the position will also support community outreach efforts and initiatives for health promotion.

Coordinator - Community Health Workers Association

The Coordinator for Community Health Worker Association is responsible for working with the Hawai‘i Community Health Workers (HICHW) Leadership Council and HIPHI Program Manager to move the HICHW Association forward. This includes assisting the Leadership Council with their first strategic plan, identifying short-term goals and long-term goals, continual assessment of training and resource needs, among many other things.
