This time last year, the notion of “lockdowns”, “stay-at-home orders” and “social distancing” were foreign to most of us. Today they are part of our everyday language as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact all aspects of our lives. Locally, nationally and worldwide, the pandemic has dramatically impacted and changed the economy and our healthcare landscape. COVID-19 is an economic crisis, as well as a health crisis.

Join our panel of experts as they review the impact COVID-19 has had on our local and national economy, the most important lessons learned in 2020, and identify essential questions that remain to be answered.

Discussion will also include stories of how Hawaiʻi businesses have successfully pivoted, forecasted economic trends, as well as provide perspective on the long-term implications of this pandemic.
