Heat Resilence Workshop

The County of Hawaiʻi OSCER, HIPHI, and Climate & Health Hawaiʻi are hosting a free Heat Resilience & Cooling Solutions Workshop in Kona on Saturday, October 3rd, at the Laʻiʻōpua 2020 Community Center (74-5210 Keanalehu Dr., Kailua-Kona, HI 96740), from 10am – 12:30pm. The workshop will share local findings from heat monitors installed at 12 Resilience Hubs, provide practical tips for staying safe in the heat, and invite residents to identify cooling solutions that fit their communities. The workshop is free and open to the public.
