Join us for a menthol and flavored tobacco summit featuring two experts on flavored tobacco control policy and health economics.

Dr. Valerie Yerger is an Associate Professor of Health Policy in the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences and in the Center for Tobacco Control Research & Education at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Yerger is a trained naturopathic physician and has focused on tobacco usage as a social justice issue that disproportionately affects marginalized communities.

Dr. Frank Chaloupka, an internationally recognized economist for his study of the economics of tobacco control, is a research professor in the Division of Health Policy and Administration of the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health.

We will also be recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations with our annual Alaka‘i Awards.
