Get Fit Kaua‘i Kalena Park Healthy Half Mile!

Improving Access to, and around Parks through Walkability by creating the Kalena Park Healthy Half Mile.

The Kalena Park Healthy Half Mile is a project to promote physical activity in Līhu‘e’s town core on the island of Kaua‘i. Over the last three months, Get Fit Kauai‘s Kalena Park Action Group has been working to bring this wonderful project to life for the community. The Half Mile Walk starts and ends at Kalena Park. With many thanks to Tommy Noyes of Kaua‘i Path, Larry Feinstein of Kaua‘i Cares, and Alyssa Miyake, Kalena Park Program Coordinator of Get Fit Kaua‘i, ¼ mile markers were strategically placed around the loop. See symbols on map for mile marker locations.
