Internship and Early Career Opportunities

Internship at HIPHI

Looking for an internship for the summer? Our internship program is open to university students and recent graduates seeking to apply public health skills in real-time. All internships are unpaid, and HIPHI does not cover relocation or housing costs. We match students with staff based on their interests and goals, providing mentorship when our team has the capacity to supervise interns and assign meaningful projects. If a mentor is unavailable at HIPHI, we collaborate with community-based partners to place and host interns. Please visit hiphi.org to learn more about our programs and coalitions before you complete the application form

Early Career Opportunities

The ideal candidate should be passionate about increasing the community’s knowledge of environmental health topics that impact residents of Hawaiʻi. Public Health AmeriCorps is a one-year, full-time commitment. Eligible members will receive a monthly allowance and other benefits.
