Tobacco-Free Kauaʻi is part of the highly respected Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawaiʻi and has been a leader on island and in the state for advancing tobacco control policy.

[she/her] Valerie has been an active member of CTFH since 2003 and joined the staff in 2010. Valerie currently lives on Kauaʻi fulfilling her passion in public health. Her previous work experience includes Kalihi-Palama Health Center for the “Crossroads” tobacco prevention and education play for youth, as well as REAL, YMCA, and Boys and Girls Club of Hawaiʻi. Valerie also has a soft heart for “exotic” animals that are in need of rescue, and her pets include an axolotl, rabbits, turtles, tortoise, a gold dust gecko and hundreds of fish.
