Keiki Heroes Resources are Empowering Keiki Across Hawai‘i
Keiki Heroes (KH) is a community initiative created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support local kids, families, educators, and health care professionals. The goal of the work is simple but powerful: our keiki can be empowered to be the heroes of their own stories, not victims of the pandemic.
The work has included education around COVID-19 safety, social-emotional well-being, and physical health. HIPHI has disseminated over 2,800 updated KH materials to community partners supporting keiki statewide. Keiki can color while they learn more about COVID-19 vaccines through updated comics. Click on a vaccination comic below to download:

Multiple translations of the new comic are on the way as well as new Keiki Heroes books for the fall! Stay up-to-date by subscribing to the KH newsletter by clicking here. New and updated resources are now available on keikiheroes.org. Keiki Heroes joined the HIPHI ‘ohana in May 2022.
