New Staff Join HIPHI in Spring 2023

HIPHI is pleased to welcome several new staff members this spring.

Kealoha Madriaga, West Hawai‘i Community Coordinator

Kealoha Madriaga is the West Hawai‘i Tobacco and HEAL Coalition Coordinator. Kealoha has extensive experience in tobacco prevention and control, working as a certified tobacco treatment specialist and was a member of Tobacco-Free Hawai‘i Island for three years, engaging in tobacco education, coalition, and policy work. Kealoha also helped organize the youth coalition on Hawai‘i Island, the Hawai‘i Island Youth Academy. 

Born and raised in Hakipu‘u, O‘ahu, Kealoha moved to Hawai‘i Island in 2003 and currently resides in the beautiful town of Waimea. During her free time, Kealoha enjoys planting succulents, being outdoors, going to the beach, and spending time with family.

RoAnn Viloria is Maui Nui’s HEAL Coalition Coordinator. RoAnn will work closely throughout the islands of Maui, Moloka’i, and Lāna’i to support the HEAL Coalition initiatives along with the state Physical Activity and Nutrition (PAN) Plan strategies. She will work closely with the HEAL Coalition Leadership, the Maui County Food Access Coordinator, built environment stakeholders, food access stakeholders, and community members to envision, develop, and implement projects as needed. 

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui, RoAnn grew up in Kihei and is a 2015 Maui High Graduate.RoAnn has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Policy from the University of California, Irvine and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from West Coast University. RoAnn believes in giving back to the community that has raised her and wants to positively impact Maui Nui. She is a strong public health advocate and hopes to spread Public Health Service throughout her community.

Rashall Orr, Office Manager

Rashall Orr is HIPHI’s Office Manager. She recently relocated to Hawai‘i from Oregon, where she worked as a Business Office Manager and HR Manager. Rashall has also worked with a nonprofit in addiction and mental health, serving community needs. In her free time, Rashall enjoys family activities, horseback riding, hiking, camping, and relaxing on the beach with an audiobook.
