Public Health is Hiring!

UH Partners with Hawai‘i Public Health Institute to host job fair for students

HONOLULU, HI – Kicking off on Tuesday, May 3, the Hawai‘i Public Health Institute will be hosting a Public Health Job Fair in partnership with the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Office of Public Health Studies and the Thompson School of Social Work and Public Health.

The job fair will take place in the Campus Center Courtyard from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and be open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk about their future career goals with representatives from the following organizations: Waikiki Health, R.Y.S.E., Catholic Charities, Hale Kipa, Pear Suites, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, Hale Kūʻike and more!

This job fair is also an effort in retaining local people and investing in our homegrown talent. This takes on even greater importance in the context of Hawai‘i’s brain drain, when we consider the amount of Hawai‘i-born people who have a bachelor’s degree or higher but live on the mainland.
