Calling all Community Health Workers!

We hope you can join us at the 2019 Hawai‘i Community Health Worker Leadership Conference titled Pupukahi I Holomua: For and About Community Health Workers. Space is quickly filling up so reserve your spot today!

The conference will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Ala Moana Hotel. It will be an exciting day of learning, sharing, and networking with your fellow CHWs and allies from across the state. A CHW’s work is truly valued and deserves its recognition.

“Integration of CHWs into systems of care has shown to improve health equity, strengthen health systems, and improve life experiences for underserved communities,” said our award recipient, Gracie Flores, who attended the Unity Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in April 2019. Gracie along with other CHWs will be sharing their experiences of the Unity Conference at this event.

Registration for CHWs to attend is free. If you are an ally, educator, or employer of CHWs interested in attending the conference, registration is $25.00. All proceeds will support the Hawai‘i-based CHW Association.
