Resilience is on the menu for Maui Nui Food Alliance’s 2nd annual Food Summit

Kamehameha Schools Maui will host the in-person Maui Nui Food Alliance (MNFA)’s 2022 Food Summit on Friday, October 21, 2022, with the theme, Hoʻoulu i ka ʻŌnaehana Meaʻai – Growing Resilient Food Systems.

MNFA, a cross-sector collaborative dedicated to a resilient and healthy food future for Maui Nui, invites all food producers and food systems leaders from Maui, Molokai, and Lānaʻi to complete the registration survey by September 30, 2022 to attend the 2022 Food Summit. 

The MNFA 2022 Food Summit is excited to host Rogerene Kali Arce, the new Maui County Director of Agriculture, as the event’s keynote speaker. The MNFA 2022 Food Summit will be a space to talk-story and network, learn about Kamehameha School’s Hawaiʻi food systems work, hear from Maui Nui’s food system leaders, eat a local lunch, and contribute to the Maui County Food and Nutrition Security Plan. The day will conclude with the launch of the Project Locavore 2022 Eat Local Maui Challenge!
