Kathy Gikbay

Kathy joined HIPHI in April 2023 as the Program Assistant to provide general administrative support for the Hawai‘i Oral Health Coalition and Community Health Worker initiatives. Born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island, Kathy is passionate about public health and community outreach. Prior to HIPHI, Kathy served as the Program Assistant at Hui Mālama Ola Nā ‘Ōiwi and more recently as a Kokua Associate for Kokua Partnership Services. Kathy has a BA in Communication and subject certificates in educational studies and pacific island studies. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends and playing ukulele.
