[she/her] Katie joined HIPHI in September 2017 as the Coordinator for the Maui County Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawaiʻi. She returned in February 2025 to support the Communications Team, where she creates content for both print and digital platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. Katie holds a degree in Anthropology from UC Berkeley and spent nearly a decade working as an archaeologist in Hawaiʻi. She has also served as the Chief Operating Officer for a pediatric therapy clinic on Maui. Katie enjoys traveling the world with her family. She has visited all seven continents, while her children have reached five.
