[she/her] Sairel joined HIPHI in March 2022, now serving as Program Manager for Community Research. In her role, she supports data and evaluation initiatives and ensures community voices are integrated in research. She has worked with diverse partners including health centers, community-based organizations, and state agencies on various projects around health education, community outreach, data support, and evaluation. She received her Master of Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology and a Graduate Certificate in Tropical Medicine at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She spends her free time reading, playing with her dogs, finding new places to eat, and imagining new/old systems of care that center community.
