Contact tracing is essential for Hawaiiʻs next phase of COVID-19 response. A one-year, $2.5 million partnership between the DOH Disease Outbreak Control Division and UH’s UHealthy Hawai‘i Initiative will leverage UH faculty expertise and existing courses across the 10-campus system to rapidly develop training programs. Their goals: train approximately 300 contact tracers, and increase the universityʻs capacity to graduate 100 community health workers each year. Please join us as we learn about this partnership from Dr. Sarah Park and Dr. Aimee Grace.
