Free School Meals Legislator Visit

Community advocates are rallying around Senate Bill 1300, which would provide free school meals to Hawai‘i families earning below a living wage. The bill has passed the House Finance Committee, and the next step is ensuring it’s funded in the state budget. Supporters will gather at the Hawai‘i State Capitol rotunda to speak with lawmakers and urge them to prioritize funding. All are welcome to join—let’s help send the message that no child should go without a meal due to financial hardship.
