Perspectives on Community Health Field Trip: Hanapēpē Salt Ponds, Kauaʻi

This Perspectives in Community Health visit offers a rare opportunity to learn from local families who have stewarded this sacred site for generations, harvesting salt using time-honored practices. Discover how this living tradition connects to community health, environmental stewardship, and cultural resilience. Don’t miss this chance to engage with the land, the people, and the stories that shape Kaua’i’s heritage. Spots are limited, and the deadline to register is Friday, October 31.
