The Waimānalo Kanikapila & Limu Festival is a community celebration of Hawaiian music, limu, and the cultural traditions that make Waimānalo such a special place. For more than a decade, musicians, cultural practitioners, and community members have gathered in Waimānalo to share knowledge, stories, and music that connect people to the land and sea.

This free, family-friendly festival brings together some of Hawaiʻi’s most respected musicians for a day of live kanikapila alongside limu education, cultural demonstrations, local food, and community vendors. The event highlights the deep relationship between Hawaiian music and the coastal resources that have sustained Waimānalo for generations.

Join us for a full day of music, learning, and community as we celebrate the traditions of Waimānalo and the legacy of Hawaiian music.
