Join youth leaders to learn what they have been doing during the pandemic, how they are working to create a more just society and the role they see youth playing in shaping Hawai‘i’s future. Facilitating is Josh Ching, Kamehameha Schools Junior, and member of HIPHI’s Youth Council Leadership Team. He is joined by Kawika Pegram, American University Freshman and Executive Director for The Hawai‘i Youth Climate Coalition, Nikkya Taliaferro, Moanalua HS Senior, one of the organizers of the recent Hawai‘i for Black Lives march, and Joseph Newmann, Seattle University Junior and advocate working on Resolution 19-329 to establish a Youth Commission for the City and County of Honolulu.
