High schoolers are under immense pressure navigating high school, balancing work, supporting their families, participating in sports and maintaining relationships. Add on the unexpected changes and challenges from the pandemic, students are experiencing stress and anxiety above what they already deal with on a daily basis. We want to highlight and address these issues, provide skills to help students de-stress, shift towards a healthy mindset and live healthier lives. Join us as experts explain how the pandemic has taken a toll on teens’ mental and emotional health in Hawai‘i, what resources are available to help cope with the pandemic, and how social media has been used to promote mental health awareness.
